The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) today initiated use of a historic steam locomotive running and carrying passengers from Bangkok to Chachoengsao, southeast of Bangkok.

Airports of Thailand (AoT) president admitted the ongoing protests have affected the number of passengers using Thailand’s airports to enter the country.

Thai farmers cry foul over rice pledge price cut

Thai farmers have aired their grievances over the government’s decision to slash the rice pledging price ceiling. Most of them are worried about shouldering the burden of higher production costs of rice farming and the chronic problem of accumulating debt owed to loan sharks.
